Ingredients

  • 1 Avocado
  • 3 cups of fresh basil (1.4oz)
  • 1/3 cup of pistachio nuts, unsalted (1.4 oz)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 cup of avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil (4 fl oz)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. First, peel the avocado and remove its seed. Then wash the basil, juice the lemon and mash the garlic. Transfer the avocado, garlic, basil, pistachio oil and nuts and lemon juice into a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Season the mixture with salt as desired. Scoop the mixture into a jar and top with olive or avocado oil. Seal the jar with a lid.
